The Girl

by Trying to let go of reality   Jan 29, 2008

With a blank stare on my face
I spot the girl in this crowded place
Her beauty sends chills down my spine
I wish she was mine
If only she felt the same about me
But in my heart, I know it will never be.

I'm so sorry for being 3 years late. I haven't been able to get into my account, until today. :)
I actually ran into a similar situation like this poem two weeks ago. It was nice yet sad. You did a nice job with this.

I liked it. it was romance and tragedy all balled up in one. rock on due. lol =)

The ending was good, because of the randomness in it, the way it didn't rhyme with the rest of the poem.
