Loyalty

I thought I had it all
until I had a fall

My friends weren't really there
just watched without care

My name dragged through mud and disgrace
Honor and loyalty left their place

My worst enemies felt sorry, and take up arms
No one but they could cause me harm

People show their true colors and where their loyalty lie
just shake their heads and sigh

After years of kindness and showing I care
