These Tears

I hope you're happy with who you with. I'm happy for you, even though I'm not the one.
I saw you in a different way, but you didn't see me at all.
All I am to you is a "friend", I know that's all we'll ever be and I'll except that.
So that's why you will never know why I cry these tears.

I cried a tear each time you hurt me,
I watched as you left me behind,
I want to run after you,
But "He's hurt you" is in my mind.

Again & again i think of you,
Each time i hold back tears,
I never want to love again,
Because of this single fear.

So if that day will ever come,
That I will love again,
I hope my heart is ready,
And strong enough to mend.
