I wonder when your heart first beat,
How long you've been inside of me,
Will your eyes be blue or green,
When will your first movement be,

I feel my womb and start to dream,
When I have you will I scream,
Or cry and caress you with all I am,
And thank god as I hold your hand,

As you grow I'll imagine you,
All the things that you might do,
How far you'll go and what you'll see,
And hope that you'll be thinking of me,

And now this day I watch you play,
All those cute little things you say,
The way you act an all you do,
Do all things you think are true,

Know I love you with all my soul,
With out you I would never have been whole,

Thank you God for all of my precious little gifts...

    This poem gave me chills up my spine for some reason. i know this is from the females perspective, but for some reason i really liked it. i have a feeling that my girlfriend might be pregnant with my child and all ive been thinking are some of them things that woman in your poem was thinking. im scared of having a child at my age (17) but it just happened. im up to accepting and stepping up to the plate and be a great father. the best i can.
