Why are you still in my head!
I truly wish i moved on instead.
Was it fair not for me to see,
What your thoughts were of me?
Haunted by the simplicity of a steamy night,
Lack of answers i continue to fight.
Why someone i choose would act childish and lame,
As if they were never to blame.
Learn how to appreciate a compliment,
Instead of trying to analyze what it meant.
I have never been treated this way,
I usually have the last word to say.
Learn how to appreciate a "moment"
Take it for what it was and see,
It's okay if you lost the chance to truly see me,
But chasing the young i guess you will find,
Treating women with respect is not on their mind!
