I felt the tears running down my cheeks
And didnt bother to wipe them away
I held him in my arms
And told him it would be ok
Stay awake, dont close your eyes
He said he was cold
He said please dont cry
I looked in his frightened eyes
And kissed him one last time
And when I looked in his eyes again
They had closed and I knew his life had reached its end
I laid on his lifeless body
Not caring about the blood
As I lifted my head to the heavens above
I said
God, what have you done
