Close call

by traceybilsbarrow   Jan 30, 2008

ONE DAY WHILE I WAS SLEEPING
I THOUGHT I WAS AWAKE
THE PICTURE WAS SO COLOURFUL
I WALKED ALONG THE PAVEMENT
EACH ONE WAS PAVED WITH GOLD
WHEN I GOT TO WHERE I WANTED
I TURNED TO SEE THE SIGHT
THE COLOR WAS ALL GONE
DAY HAD TURNED TO NIGHT
SUDDENLY I FELT A SHIVER,
IT SPREAD RIGHT DOWN MY SPINE,
THERE I WAS JUST STOOD THERE,
WITH NO PLACE TO GO
IN A STRANGE SURROUNDING
THIS PLACE I DID KNOW KNOW
I HEARD A VOICE IT CALLED ME
BUT I WAS AFRAID TO MOVE
ANOTHER VOICE CAME CALLING NEXT
JUST AS THE GROUND BEGAN TO CRACKI
COME ON HONEY WAKE UP
ITS ME IM HOME,IM BACK
SUDDENLY I WAKE UP
STARLED AND IN A DAZE
GOSH I FEEL REAL TIRED
COULD OF SLEPT FOR DAYS!
