Because of a Spark

A guy likes a girl and a girl likes a guy
Both, already, having sweets
In most situations the girl would decry
It goes on; the feeling heats

They kept on flirting and talked all the time
The conversations they loved; and felt even more
The girl didn't stop, denying her crime
She started to feel like she was being a ____

The guy's girl didn't know, and still doesn't now
Warm feelings, and sharing interests so near
Having all of this fun, he won't disallow
These feelings for her, described as revere

The girl got upset, said "Never again."
Confessed her beliefs on what's right and what's wrong
The guy was in shock, so angry, in pain
He didn't want her to leave, feelings so strong

The girl told her boyfriend about the little affair
He simply forgave, he was her only one
The girl was in shock, she thought she would be in despair
She promised her boyfriend that she was now done

That promise at first it seemed easy and right
The guy felt such sorrow, and the girl felt it too
Her feelings for him were still holding him tight
He felt there was too much on his plate to chew

She kept on talking and wouldn't let go
He listened and talked and he understood
They then forgave and the feelings did show
Afterward they felt this romantic good

They went back to that place, that romance they shared
They couldn't help feeling; couldn't take it all away
They each wanted friendship, and it unimpaired
They couldn't resist, and so they continued to stray

The girl told her boy, he understood how she felt
He loved her and knew that it would take time
You just can't erase feelings, so with her he dealt
He knew that her mountain was hard to climb

So they all got along, and lived with those days
The love-square with the girlfriend still left in the dark
The girl and the guy trying to get through the maze
And all the joy and sorrow because of a spark
