Choices

It is believed by many people that choices are what make us who we are.
And isn't it true?
While our parents can give us guidelines or rules,
The only people that can really control what we do is,
and will always be,
Ourselves.
So who's to stop us from doing something stupid?
If we get so caught up in the moment,
How are you supposed to think properly?
Common sense is what normally keeps us from doing something stupid or rash,
But using common sense means thinking,
And wouldn't it be easier to just not think for a little bit?
Of course by doing so,
You risk the consequences.
Most people will do something without thinking of the effect.
How will it affect the people around you?
And most of all how will it effect you?

Is it worth it?

If you go through with whatever you are doing
You have to be willing to accept the consequences,
Whatever they may be.
Life is what you make of it.
In the end,
It will always be a choice between what it right
And what is easy.
While now you might think you know what you will always do,
When the time comes everything seems a little different.
You make your life with your choices.
And you can always choose to do the right thing.
