A letter to my unborn child
The child i still adore
To the life that once grew inside me
To the face i never saw
The gift of life created
The gift i will always miss
The baby i once knew so tiny
The forehead i never got to kiss
Your hands i never got to hold
Your cry was never heard
It seems you were needed in heaven
So i didnt hear a sound from you, not a word
You were taken from inside me
And i was robbed of your love
God needed a new angel
So youve been taken up above
And even though your not there
I write this with a tear
Even though life's not fair
I know you'll always be near

No measurement could be used
To show this dying World
How i would have given anything
To see my little boy or girl
As your memory floats out
As the petals fade away
I know i'll think of you
Every night when i do pray

Even though i lost you
And seeing new babies brings on a cry
The memory of you will live on forever
til' the very day i die.
