Recalling The Deed

by Catastrophic Beauty   Feb 1, 2008

A body tainted along the grubby basement floor,
The smell of rotting flesh resting upon your lips.
Swimming in the cries of terror and anguish,
With the words of sorrow clinging to your breath.

Staring at the inert, lifeless result of your deed,
A scream silenced to only the creatures of the night.
Suppressed by the horror of what it once endured,
With wide frightened eyes fixed on its transgressor.

Black stains reveal where the makeup had smeared,
Such clear salty tears were agonizing to release.
Who was once a cheerful girl is now a horrid sight,
A withered soul, destined to suffer this awful end to life.
