Angels

I see angels in my dream
With white wings and pretty faces
With joy they beam
The sky, them, embraces...

I see angels with my eyes
They bring me hope and mirth
In shining guise
They deny sadness birth...

I see angels outside
Playing in blue skies
They see me but they don't hide
And then all despair dies...

I want to go out
And play with them, giggling
Desire in me spouts
But something beside me is wiggling...

I see an angel in my lap
Peacefully lying
And with my love I wrap
The girl resting here, sighing...

She sighs for the sky
She longs to be free
She needs to fly
But her chains need a key...

She's left the skies
To come down and love me
And to my surprise
She does not want the key...

Just being with you
