How can I not love thee with all my heart?

If I hear thy voice in the silent rain.

If I see thy face when we’re far apart.

If my spirit lives on though I am slain.

How can I not give thee all that I have?

If it’s you that I’m always thinking of.

If all I want from you is all your love.

If thy memory beats what seems too tough.

How can I not live my life just for thee?

If each step I take to you is heaven.

If each breath is a moment more with me.

If each sand means a day with you again.

But all my words cannot soften thy heart.

And that for me will be the hardest part.
