Noctiphobia (a terror).

by Unrequited   Feb 1, 2008

I wear a mask
at night to
shade my sorrows while
I sleep-

there is no
heaven on which
I feed when I am
lonely,

but an angel
attempts to wipe
my tears.
why does she

continuously fail?
I covet her beauty
that swims in
enchanting hearts,

for I fear the
night when I
must lie in tattered sheets
and cold love

drowning. my eyes
carry me off
to dream of new lands,
isolated and gasping for air

underneath it all-
lunar light,
deep meadows,
and melancholy smiles.

The placing of the words and the structures really threw me off, and i think if you just put it together in a short paragraph that it would seem less broken and easier to read. Otherwise, I liked the story and the words used. good yob...
