My God, My Comfort, My Strength

by Lovely Bones   Feb 2, 2008

My God, My Comfort, My Strength

Who are you, my beloved God,
That as the creator of the universe,
The stars, the sea,
The wonders of the world,
That you could love me so much,
So passionately, to die for me,
To comfort me, to strengthen me?
When it is I who should be on my knees,
Worshiping you,
It is You who adores me
Enough to pick me up when I have fallen
And give me a new, undeserving start.
I love You.
Oh God how I love You
Words nor actions shall ever express my desire for You
But I will try until I die,
And then worship forever more.
