Just a girl with a broken smile
who longs to stay just for a little while
shes been broken, shes been hurt, but still stands high
dreaming of the day, she lets go to fly
She wants to run but clearly stays put
time after time, cut after cut
reaching out, trying her best
to tell you the story as she shows you the rest
through the tear stained cheeks
and eyes that melt showing shes weak
she decides one day only SHE can make it better
which finally provoked the writing of this letter
"Baby,
I tried to be strong, I tried to stand high but now im off, off to fly. But no worries here im stronger than ever, I dont need you to prove i can be better. My smile is much purer and my mind is stable, carry my own i do, because im now able. Your hurt is the drive under these golden wings lifting me higher, leaving your cruel words of hatered and liar. Maybe you will miss me, miss my touch or occasional strength, buy you have to admit your what caused this length. Maybe i will see you around some time, maybe you will be the next one to struggle through this tough weather, but baby i now state the truth, the provoking of this letter, i swear on my very last breathe, that i dont need you to prove I can be better.
