Freedom in solitude of paradise

by Nisha   Feb 2, 2008

My heels sink into the sand
and though the heat is more than i can stand
i stay.

and the ocean breeze runs through my hair
no sight of anyone, anywhere.
I breathe.

I tilt my head toward the sky
the sun is hanging helplessly high

I lose all my inhibition
and laugh out loud

I am alive!

i tug the strings
at last I'm free
and with reckless abandon...
I run out to sea.
