A soft sweet little lullaby,
written for the love of my life.
Holding you ever so gently,
as I sing you to sleep tonight.

So listen carefully baby,
as I promise you in song.
That I will love you forever,
I hope my words don't come out wrong.

So forgive me if I'm off key,
it's the words that matter, not the tune,
For my soft sweet little lullaby,
is meant for only you.
