In The Dancing Waters

by NightFlyer   Feb 2, 2008

Holding your memory dear in the harvest moon October,
To cross dark meadows in pale light glowing,
To the magic of the heart in mournful echoes,
Starlight shown, the end of the road as night sinks in obscurity,
The song of my heart kisses you in tears of amethyst,
I steer to the road in the ambiance of my desire,
To see your image smiling, reflected in the dancing waters,
Your sultry face and kiss,
Tears through my imagination,
So much to tell you beneath this grey pall,
But your sweet mirage is all that I have,
As I go forth on roads that reflect no comfort,
Sliding through the night in cloudy waves.
