You Left Me Alone

We were friends when we were 4th graders
We were happy playing games together
And even copying test and helping each other
But now after 2 years later We are now 6th graders
I think you don't know me and you don't recognize my face
I see you look right through me
I feel a light passes across me
It quickly consumes me
Ive tried to talk to you i said hell But no
I was there always alone
So thats why I was lonely all day long
Cuz` I love you since the day you left me alone

    This is such a sweet poem. Although it's written for a younger crowd, I think that older people can relate to this. I love the last line.... so true and we don't realize how much of an impact a person makes on us until they leave us alone. Again well written poem.
