Deep inside the lovers mind
theres a little cry
that whimpers each night
a cry that can never end
for the lover wouldn't wish it to
for without the cry
there would be no lover
but yet with this whimper
does the lover truly exist
for shouldn't the lover have a song
or is love just a memory
that forever cries out
to each and every lover
only wishing to be redeemed
like that of true love
but that shall not happen
for if it were true love
then the song would have never ended
and the whimper of the lover
shall never again exist
