Secrets

by Emily Strickland   May 17, 2004

The Smile She Wears
Is Nothing But Fake
As Much As She Tries
This Pain She Cannot Take

Hidden Behind A Mask
Is The Hurt From Her Past
Haunted By The Memories
Of Pain That Seems To Last

Nobody Knows Who She Really Is
Shes Forced To Keep It Inside
Locked Away Within Her Heart
Is Where Her Secrets Hide

All The Secrets In Her Life
Of Feelings That Go Untold
But While She Is Alone
Her Feelings All Unfold

She Breaks Down And Cries
Almost Every Single Night
And No Ones There To Tell Her
Everything Is Gunna Be Alright

She Has Nobody But Herself
In This World She Is Alone
Nobody Seems To Care For Her
Not Even At Her Home

Inside Of Her Mind
She Bares A Painful Storm
Sometimes She Even Wishes
That She Was Never Born

Even Though She Is Weak
She Keeps Trying To Be Strong
But Everytime Things Get Good
Something Always Goes Wrong

Things Only Get Worse
As She Can No Longer Hide
She Has Finally Decided To Let Go
For She's Committed Suicide
