I wish..

I wish that i could put it into words
i wish that you could understand
how i feel exactly
when i hold your hands

more of you i want each day
this simply won't suffice
I'm sick and tired of doing this
I am done playing nice

forget the world is watching
forget that we're too wrong
i wish the world were perfect
like some crazy love song

Unfortunately, the world never worked that way
even though it should
i think that we can last forever
i really think we could
what we have is good

    The first stanza stood out the most to me it really seems to get the point across and is clear on what the poem is about
