Been three years since the accident
Didn't think I would ever get to say goodbye
God works in mysterious ways
Because yesterday a miracle happened in my life
My dad put me in the truck and we drove along the desert road
He told me he had a surprise
I was so excited
We come to a stop by a cemetery not long after
Walk around looking for a Special place to stand
We ask and people are confused
I turn around and thats when the miracle came

I walk over and stand staring so concentrated
Open my mouth but could not let out the words
I have held them in far too long
I look and just think the words
I stand and listen for a reply
You tell me goodbye and I smile for my deed is done
Stood for a while hoping to see your Angel
You never came but still you spoke to me
You seemed so calm and gentle
I left with a new feeling of Fullness but was Empty
I said goodbye but I wanted to say more
