I watched a man
slink back into
an empty corner of a
crowded room- an attempt
to draw attention.

he was lonely and
dark in a well-lit room,
only craving a
kind woman's eyes
to wander, then slowly

fixate upon his skin.
when no one
bothered to meet his
gaze, his heart
immediately withered,

sick with love's
cold starvation.

    "..slink back into"
-Maybe its just me, but slink doesn't seem like a very firmilar term to me. You may want to change that, I can infer what you mean here.. but just in case.

I like this poem a lot... It had a okay flow to it, and I liked how you described this man in the beginning trying to draw attention to himself, but in the end he didn't find anyone. Great write. 5/5.
