Big Wheel

by Indian Comma Bean   Feb 5, 2008

Laughing,
-Dancing,
--Running
---Jumping.

All these things I used to feel,
Now I'm older It's so surreal,
Thinking of my red big wheel,
I was king of the streets...

-Atleast till it was time for the evening meal.

As time dragged on,
My eyes grew wider,
I was given a bike with only two wheels,
I was simply not the ideal rider.

Scraped knees and puffy eyes,
I was done, I didn't want to try.
Now I'm older and life is harder,
No longer do I receive simple, subtle, ardor.

Everyday I face mental anger,
Minutes tick as depression clicks,
Hours alone in my dark, silent room,
Oh why must I feel such frequent gloom.

Depression,
-Regression
--Repression
---Obsession

These are the things I now know,
For I am in a state of hurt and woe.
