Tears stream down her cheeks
As she hangs up the phone
A feeling of loneliness surrounds her
Oh so alone

She was dying deep inside
She could feel her heart breaking
She knew she had to let him go
But her whole body was aching

Why did it have to end?
She loved him so much
She remembered his kiss
And could feel his touch

The tears fell faster
In a steady stream
Her heart was pleading
In silent screams

Young love never lasts
You have to let it go
Then maybe through the clouds
The sun will finally show

But once you love someone
Nothing's ever the same
Songs make you cry
And you turn at their name

There's a place in your heart
That will always be marked
But you have to have an end
In order to have a start
