Super Glue

by Eman D   Feb 6, 2008

You walk past me again
With a smile so forced
I know you're hurting today
Greeting me with a voice so hoarse

I can tell you've been yelling
I can tell you've been crying
Don't tell me you're fine
Cause I know you're lying

I can see past your gentle face
Don't even try to fake it
Why do you continue to give him your heart
If all he does is break it

Don't let him break your heart again
And stop calling him your man
Call me Bob the Builder
"Can we fix it?"
"Yes we can!"

See, I made you laugh a little
And your smile is more genuine
I am slowly restoring your faith
As you read every line

I want you to live life in color
Stop seeing it as white, black, and blue
That can start today
But its all up to you
So hand me your broken heart
And I'll come through with super glue
Give me some time to work on it
But I promise I'll hand it back like it was brand new
