Returned to Earth

by Summer   Feb 6, 2008

Beautiful whispers caress me
just like a peaceful dream
lost in her gaze once again
shes become my everything

entranced by her jade eyes
spellbound in the placid night
her silken lips press on mine
like a kiss, our hearts unite

Consumed by her love
immerse her with mine
Theres no bond like ours
none as genuinely divine

dawning sky brings change
shes humbled by falsities
betrayed by corrupted fate
innocence tainted by treachery

convicted with the crime of passion
my queen stolen by her own bride
forced to surrender my one true love
driven to release what kept me alive

emptiness darkened my eyes
as merciless fate locks me away
Ill never again taste your sweetness
My stolen heart fades to bitter gray

I shut my eyes to see her face
to gaze into her moonlit eyes
wondering when she will appear again
as silent tears fall from bloodshot eyes

[I didn't look this over before posting, so it may need work. Suggestions are welcome]
