You silently wait for the right moment to ask them out, but...what if they say no and never even look at you again? You wait just in case, and you wait so damn long that someone else asks them first and you're left waiting silently out in the cold...

Why is it human nature to criticize things that we know little about or do not understand? Do we find it as an excuse? As a way out? In any case, it doesn't solve a thing and only adds to the problem.

Always forgive. Never forget. Once water is under the bridge, there is no point in worrying about it. But the water is still gone. It has still gone under the bridge. It is a fact. There is no changing it.

Emotions are like fossil fuels. Most of the time they stink and can explode with the smallest spark. Abusing them can make many people whine and say it's bad for the environment. But then again, we'd be pretty worse off without them, wouldn't we?

I've learned to tune people out in my mind when I really don't want to listen to what they say. Sometimes, it even works with my own thoughts. Unfortuna...*elevator music*... and I can comfortably say that NO ONE was expecting THAT to happen!
