Misery and hate sets in
As my twisted life begins...

I stare at a stranger before me
She seems unknown but true...

With teary eyes, and a tear-stained face
She looked straight through him & into space...

Writing down these words to emit them from my mind
Afraid to let them elsewhere go for fear of what...

I stabbed myself with blinding hate
& in that moment chose a fate...

When her present meets her past
To sum it up…she’s left aghast...
