What is harder knowing that you love him but he loves some one else or knowing you love him and knowing he loves you but you cant be together?

When someone say I love you then hurts you really bad just know that they most likely never loved you at all because if they did they never hurt you in fact the do what ever they can so you don’t hurt

If i said "I love you" would you even say you care?
