He appeared at my window,
Broken and forlorn...
Sunlight's pouring through the windows,
Splashes cross her dusty floor...
She's been sitting here daily
Loving the lollies...
Give me bliss without ignorance
To hang round my neck...
A field,
Empty of all but us...
Her form shines with the light of unpolished...
Dull and fading a beauty not worth fighting...
Tic... Tic... Tic...
Slowly, steady the clock continues it's course...
I have never been one to dream about my future...
Yet lately I look to it as a blank wall surrounded...
How can it be?
Happy so happy one moment...
Pencil taps at the desk,
Ignoring the survey placed before...
