In sleep I felt them perish
the winds that once did fan...
`Twas hope she once lent us, I see as I gaze,
across the horizon her death sets ablaze...
Our eyes, they did envision.
Our hopes, they did ascend...
Lord, I regret to disturb you.
There appears to be some mistake...
World is sick,
clung to by tired arms...
Denial of the fantastic,
and impossible height...
What else am I left with, but knowledge,
and memories ridden with pain...
How my eyes now long to witness,
how the breeze can stir the dust...
I do not wear white anymore.
The wealth of the rainbows combined...
I found no rest in sleeping
for I dreamt the dream again...
For this did come our saviour
this myriad of sins...
We are dancing in the moonlight
to the sound of summer's breath...
