The memories will always break me a little.

She carved his name into her dieing body, so he’d know she’d always be his.

Her body was cold, his name was carved into her flesh, and the blood seeped through her clothes. Tears ran down his face, what had he done to provoke such carnage of her body.

They crowed around her; body lying on the floor, gun to her head, hand on her heart. What had happened in the girl’s life, to take her destiny into her own hands?

With her baby in her womb she fled the town to disappear forever.

As she fled the town the rumours started of her connection to him and the reason she was leaving. But no one knew the rumours, weren’t just rumours but the undefined truth.

As her baby grew bigger in her womb the gossip of the town conspired against her and her unborn child.

She moved her hand down to her lower abdomen; it was hard to think his baby was growing inside of her.
