The light flickers wildly,
The sparks threaten to burn...
Caress my stone cold body,
Kiss at my untouched lips...
I find a map,
And draw a straight line...
A flurry of golden hay,
Falls to the ground...
In the beginning,
A series of quick glances...
I promised not to cry,
I said I would hang on...
Every day,
I pray...
You first entered my heart,
And decided to stay...
Rain begins,
Its slow patter on my window...
If I brought you to this place...you wouldn't last...
This place is no dream vacation...its some place...
I was holding on tight,
That one frightening night...
I don't know what to do anymore!
I can't even write a poem that makes sense...
