Everytime you look at me
I know exactly where I'm meant to be...
You weren't even old enough to have it,
And yet you still took a drink...
This place I'm at, an ultimate low
Why did you leave, why did you go...
Lying in the grass together
We watch the stars twinkle in silky, black skies...
In anguish, I fall to the ground
Tremors wrack my body as I audibly cry...
Tears streak down a dirt-covered face
And I stare at the enticing surface of the knife...
Thinking of you with someone else
My heart shatters on the floor...
She was still young
Lively at heart...
Like rubies and diamonds
That sparkle and gleam...
My feet trudged along the old cobblestone street
As I trailed through my dark and lonely heart...
This is a poem for someone very special to me...
I never really knew you
We've only met once or twice...
