Frozen bits of snowflakes fall
Upon my windowsill...
Tied together with a smile,
Plastered down with a mask...
((Okay, this may not sound too nice when read, but...
And I'm falling in...
All I see are mere illusions
All my dreams...
The phone lies still on the receiver
Yet, ironically, I hear her...
Being that much of a disappointment
Why don't you walk away...
And he tries to bring me comfort
Says my heart holds beauty beyond compare...
Of the miseries uncounted
Of atrocities galore...
((I wrote this poem based on a book called...
Through darkness floats a whisper...
We held hands at the carnival,
Ate ice-cream as I flirted with the salesmen...
Thank you,
For teaching me how to love...
The door slams shut, every time
Yet still I feel deep in my mind...
