I sit on the couch I slouch and watch this song playing, with a couple making out on the beach... which reminded me of a fantasy we both made of doing... and so there I go again thinking of us, and of that fantasy yet to come true...

I wish there could be a way for us to be together again..... perhaps in my dreams looking over the sunset, laying in your arms...

What's with your sweet words? Have you forgotten the cheap words you've said to me before? The scars remind me that the past was real, and so with you I may not be the way I was before, so don't be surprised, even though you will be...

I'm glad we're friends, with a broken love in the past... something we both wish to be more, but maybe this is what life has let, so you is somebody I will never forget....
