Captures the gloom...

Flittering smile glimmers across

Soft peach skin lay just there
His beautiful face alight with love...

The endless sigh drifts with the wind
Winding, whistling, on the breeze...

Heavy the dark falls down
Light blotted out like a screen...

The hazy sunshine's symptom of summer
Filters through the spring brought leaves...

Trickling down through the autumn leaves
A strand of daylight falls...

The laughing explosion of joy
That everyone sees from that girl over there...

Crawl through the darkness
Into the gloom...

Drifting slowly, wordless verse
Unknown letters swallow and curse...
