At first when I started this poem,
I thought to myself...

I've been living this life
In a place I despise...

I realize life seems hard
Like no one's around...

Carelessly it falls
Landing ever so gently...

Sometimes late at night
I imagine I can hold you tight...

This Feeling deep inside
Makes me wonder why I try...

Why is it so hard for me to say goodbye?
What about all the times that you made me cry...

This song in my head
Helps me forget all that I dread...

This love that you have given
Makes all the bad forgiven...

How do I go on
Without you by my side...

Beaten paths left by fallen tears
Play Judas to my woe...

It glides silently
Hinting at a raging storm...
