I am awash in a sea of thoughts and images...

Warm summer rain gently falling upon us
Cleansing our souls with its gentle touch...

Love flows like the river of life
Washing over me cleansing my soul...

What is on the other side of life?
A question I ask as I turn the page...

Walking in the rain hand in hand
Moonlight hidden behind the clouds...

Whisky bottle in my rigid hand
Feet wrapped in dirty rags...

Each morning as I rise from bed
I stumble down life's path...

A saint I will never be
Too long in the black of night...

Rain falling steadily down from the grey sky
A sense of doom wrapped about her like a coat...
