So i guess its really over
but now what am i to do...

You say you understand
you know it all...

I know i promised
but i really don't know...

With eyes a brilliant blue
and a smile you cant deny...

I walk to halls smiling
pretending i am truly happy...

I want to be perfect
i want to be pretty...

Whenever you need me I'll always be here
Whenever you want me I'll always be near...

If you ever looked at me
would you actually see...

I am a poet writing of my pain
i am a person living a life of shame...

My heart is broken
my life is gone...

That day we sat on the couch
you told me we needed to talk...
