Showered by the oceans,
Swept up to the sky...
She rose her bow to the world,
And they faintly echoed back...
Wings of crystal on the shelf,
With a trumpet held to her lips...
Time has aged the way we were,
Gold that glitters then fades to dust...
I caught your tears with light,
Forgiveness was always there...
Icicles of stars,
Cold against the moon...
Tall tales of my past,
Fame and fortune delight...
The sky fell into darkness,
As the rain came pounding down...
Droplets of the ice,
That beckoned for my soul...
Stars hung in the sky,
As I stared in disbelief...
Today is my contempt,
Rain pours through my eye...
Stars are winking presence,
As I walk along this road...
