Hesitancy smothers my lips,
holding back the secrets I hide.
Doubt crawls through my veins,
second guessing each thought on my mind.

I'm sinking farther with each passing moment;
my love, my care, my hopes ceasing to exist.
I thought I'd gotten used to the pain,
but never before had I felt pain like this.

They'll tell you they love you,
that they really do care.
Yet they criticize your every move,
your clothes, your hair.
They lie straight to your face,
with no guilt at all.
They carry you to the top,
yet they're the very reason you fall.

Surrounded by all sides now,
the pressure so suffocating.
I can feel the pain find home in my skin,
do you enjoy my misery?

I take a deep breathe and close my eyes,
Forgetting all I don't want to see.
Not wanting to remember what it's like to be me.
But when open my eyes, the memories never fade.
Tell me what I'm supposed to do,
To take the pain away.

Legs intertwined,
sheets askew.
You dont love me,

Blood on the walls,
tears down our cheeks.
I cannot respond,
I cannot breathe.

The bodies piled up,
Blood dripping down the wall.
Scars still remaining,
I love to watch you fall.
A stain for the reminder,
A stain I cannot clean.
My list keeps shortening,
Now do you trust me?

The pain is beyond hurt,
A hurt I cant even describe.
All I can do is bleed,
To know I am still alive.

I am nothing special,
there's no need for a second glance.
