Tired eyes see cloudy skies,
My empty heart can only cry.

Emotions are very fickle things,
Subject to change at short notice.

These surface cuts will fade away,
But deep inside the wounds will stay.

I may be different, but it doesn't mean I'm wrong...

Red eyes see bloody skies,
My burning heart knows only lies.

Let not my words be found by unkind eyes,
Let none know the pain that's in my heart,
And may the sadness never touch others as it has touched me.

Behind the black make-up and the shadowed eyes,
