Secret smiles,
a stolen kiss...
A face which brought a memory,
of a time so long ago...
Questions unanswered,
Fears yet unknown...
Let the wind whisper to you,
the warmth of the sun caress your neck...
The hardest lesson in this life,
is to teach a child what's wrong or right...
I have so many memories,
That I think about and laugh...
The taste of precious freedom,
great at last to have my name...
This morning I woke with a memory,
of a beautiful little girl...
Down Under's brightest dollar,
begins to shine in it's blue sky...
I see him walking down the street,
my heart stops beating...
I've let him have his freedom,
He'll never take me back...
The anticipation of the crowd,
the hope of victory all around...
