you're exactly what i wished you weren't.

Silly me;
falling for another boy
who only sees me as a toy.

I was such an idiot;
while i sat here with you on my mind,
you layed there with her on your bed.
what does she have, that i don't?

I need to stop expecting change;
he's just a lost cause that i'm waiting on.

Tonight i'll stand in the light,
so you can count how many tears fall from my eyes.
it's okay love,
my heart can't get any worse.

I don't wanna cry over you;
i don't wanna be hurt;
but baby, as hard as i try to hide it...
you completely broke my heart.

See the thing about you,
is that your brand new;
& i like that.
but idk if i should give it a shot,
cause the way you look at her
makes me feel like you wouldn't even be interested...

So maybe i could just ignore your past;
&& tonight it could be just you and me.

&& i wanted sooo bad for this to work out;
