Cold, dark strangers walk me by,
Looking me dead in the eyes...
The light I can no longer see,
And without it I'll never be free...
A single tear runs down her face,
An angel of light and ultimate grace...
Trudging his way through the wind and rain,
He limps slowly due to searing pain...
A confusion of what's real and what's not...
I don't know how but I gotta stop...
The shadow of evil moves silently across the land;
Nature and the animals cower, run and hide...
My eyes are heavy,
Yet I cannot sleep...
Hope and Despair,
Is something we all share...
The caressing touch of death,
Cupping the last of my breath...
Overpowering insecurity,
Clouded by dark impurity...
The spiders' webs interwoven through my spine,
Their poison will soon kill me before my time...
My icy tears run down my face,
Living in the darkness and mist...
