Walking alone
On the railroad tracks...
Squinting into the sunset
Reflecting on eyelashes...
Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the lonliest of them all...
Second choice and second best
Second place to all the rest...
Put it up to pull it down
Turn that smile into a frown...
Anger strikes the room like lightening
Love and trust replaced with fighting...
Is life just a stage,
My actions just scripts on a page...
This poem is for my little sister, to whom life...
Secret tears and secret dreams...
Autumn's yellow evening light
Exploding right out of the sky...
Decieving, heart breaking
So selfishly taking...
Mommy's crying, head in hands
Says she doesn't understand...
As the gap between lips closes
And there's no one else that knows this...
